As the pandemic forced restaurants to close and diners to stay at home, food delivery services thrived during the Covid-19 crisis. Whether its ordering directly from a restaurant or using one of many available delivery platforms, U.S. consumers have the agony of choice when ordering in. But which platforms are the most popular?

According to findings from Statista's Global Consumer Survey, DoorDash has the edge over the competition with 54 percent of consumers who order food online having placed an order on its marketplace in the past 12 months. Domino's Pizza comes second at 47 percent reach, while UberEats rounds off the top 3.
