Brits and Germans equally likely to plan their holidays months in advance

Holiday planning takes time. Germans and Brits tend to spend more time planning their holidays compared to the French and Spanish. More than a third of Germans and Brits planned their last trip 3 months or more in advance, whereas just one-fifth of the Spanish did so. On the whole, the majority of surveyed respondents from all 4 countries spent more than a month planning their most recent trip. One-fifth of French respondents started planning their last trip just less than 2 weeks ahead of time.
