Protecting the natural environment is a top concern for travelers

Travelers are mindful of their environmental impact while being on vacation. Booking.com's Sustainable Travel Report 2023 found that travelers are most concerned with protecting the natural environment when they travel, as well as reducing waste at their travel destination. Many have also changed their behavior in order to decrease their carbon footprint, such as opting for walking, biking, or taking public transport for their trips.
