Hoteliers' Investment Appetite Differs Across the Globe

The Accommodation Barometer series co-produced by Booking.com and Statista shows that hoteliers from different countries/regions have different levels of investment appetite. Australian hoteliers are found to be most keen to invest, as 56% Australian respondents said that they plan to invest more in the coming 6 months compared to the past 6 months by the time the survey took place. Indian hoteliers are a close second with 52% respondents ready to invest more. European hoteliers, on the other hand, are found to be much more cautious, with the majority of them preferring to maintain the current investment momentum.
