The EU countries most at risk of persistent poverty

Across Europe, poverty levels increased over the past five years. Recent ONS research indicates that 3.9 million Britons lived in persistent poverty in 2014 with the rate across the EU averaging 10.4 percent. Persistent poverty is defined as being in relative income poverty both in the current year and at least two out of the three preceding years. This chart was featured on the indy100.
