Majority Of Americans Still Work While Sick

Coughing, spluttering, sneezing and sniffling have struck U.S. workplaces with a vengeance. That's the sign that flu season has started, though it's usually the common cold that causes the most misery and missed work days. The majority of sick Americans, 55, percent, put their hot lemon, hot water bottle and tea to one side and head out the door to work anyway, according to a report by the NPR, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
