Weekly turnover of supermarkets in the Netherlands 2019, by shop floor
An average supermarkets in the Netherlands had a weekly turnover of roughly 207,000 euros in 2019. Larger supermarkets generally also had a larger turnover. The largest supermarkets, with a shop floor of over 1,500 square meters, had an average weekly turnover of just over 352,000 euros. By comparison, supermarkets with a shop floor of less than 500 square meters had an average turnover of approximately 38,500 euros per week.
