Abortion support by age and level of legalization U.S. 2023

Younger adults in the United States are far more likely to support the legalization of abortion, with a 2023 survey finding that 18 percent of respondents aged between 18 and 29 years favored the legalization of abortion under any circumstance. This position was supported by just 28 percent of adults over 65.
