Opinions on TV news as the best source of in-depth analysis U.S. 2020, by age group
A recent survey found that the majority of Americans generally trusted TV news, as 58 percent of respondents agreed that TV news is the best way to get in-depth news. However, TV news outlets were less relevant to younger generations, with older adults much more likely to find TV news the best way of reporting. A total of 64 percent of those aged 35 and over felt the analysis provided by TV news was the best, compared to just 33 percent of adults aged between 18 and 24 years old.
