Book sales share in Russia 2022, by price category and region
Customers of bookstores located in Moscow and Saint Petersburg spent more than those in other regions of Russia in 2021. Over 40 percent of consumers in the country's two largest cities spent at least 501 Russian rubles on average in bookstores, while the largest share of buyers in other localities nationwide expended less than 300 Russian rubles.
