During a April 2022 survey, 1.1 percent of surveyed small businesses in the United States said that the COVID-19 pandemic caused a large increase in the number of hours their paid employees spent working from home. However, the majority, at 85.2 percent of respondents, said that the pandemic created little to no change in the number of hours their employees spent working from home.
