Share of agricultural technology imports into West Africa 2020, by item
As of 2020, bulldozers and excavators totaled 18 percent of agricultural technology imports into West Africa, the highest share compared to the other imported agriproducts. Moreover, agrochemicals accounted for 17 percent of the total agritech imports into the region, while herbicides, insecticides, and similar products represented 12 percent.
