Incidences of measles among children and teenagers in Germany 2001-2024, by age
In 2023, there were around 0.88 cases of measles per 1,000 residents up to the age of four. Figures dropped drastically since 2001. 2020 also saw a major reduction in the number of cases probably due to the pandemic and children having reduced contact with one another. 2023 was the first year to have an increase in cases.
