In 2023, Brazil was the country where the most companies experienced the most cybersecurity layoffs, as highlighted by nearly 40 percent of respondents. Mexico ranked second, with 37 percent of organizations having laid off cybersecurity staff in the past 12 months. On the other hand, only 11 percent of respondents working in Hong Kong reported cyber layoffs in 2023.
