Top cumulative overseas health expenditure in international NGOs 2007-2010
This statistic displays the top internationally-based NGOs with the highest cumulative overseas health expenditures from 2007 to 2010. Handicap International expended some 228 million U.S. dollars on oversea health efforts. NGOs allow funds from OECD countries to be channelled into low- and middle-income countries. NGOs have also been responsible for directly implementing and providing health services such as vaccinations for children, public health campagins, and health facilities.
