Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U)
The Consumer Price Index (CPI), calculated by the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics, is a measure of the average change over time in the prices paid by urban consumers for a market basket of consumer goods and services. This detailed report contains the annual average CPI for all expenditures made by United States urban consumers, sorted by commodity and service group. The CPI from the previous year and percent change from previous year are included for reference.
