Few mortgage to rent applications are successful

According to new figures from the Irish Department of Housing, Planning, Community and Local Government, thousands of mortgage to rent applications are in some form or other rejected. Of the 3,694 applicants in the last quarter, a mere 265 were accepted and reached completion. The vast majority (2,476) were terminated at some stage, 403 were deemed ineligible, while 550 are still currently active.
