NHS Staff Survey paints bleak picture

Working conditions for NHS staff are notoriously difficult. Faced with huge financial and workload pressure, the National Health Service is being stretched to breaking point. This infographic pulls together some of the key results of the latest NHS Staff Survey, highlighting the bleak situation for those serving the UK's healthcare system.

Only 31 percent of staff said they are satisfied with their level of pay while 58 percent reported working unpaid hours. Over a third say they had felt unwell due to stress at some point in the last year and a worrying amount of staff said they had experienced some form of abuse or harassment.
