Support Low For Manafort/Cohen Pardons

As President Trump goes through an ever-worsening period of his stint in the White House, with former campaign chief Paul Manafort convicted on eight different charges and former lawyer and fixer Michael Cohen pleading guilty to eight federal crimes, murmurs of potential presidential pardons are circulating. As a new survey by Morning Consult reveals though, there is a lack of bi-partisan support for such actions. The biggest disapproval unsurprisingly comes from people identifying as Democrats, but even among Republicans, a plurality say such pardons would not be appropriate.
