France's Macron: Even Less Popular Than Trump

U.S. President Trump is renowned for his historically low approval ratings, but there is another Western leader that is suffering from an even worse public image. Representing an all-time low since the beginning of his presidency in May 2017, French president Emmanuel Macron currently has an approval rating of just 26 percent. Trump is at least benefitting from a starkly divided and partisan electorate and currently has, according to RealClear Politics, an average approval rating of 44 percent.
