Michael Jackson: Low Public Support For Reopening Case

Part one of HBO's "Leaving Neverland" documentary aired Sunday and viewers heard riveting accounts from two men who have accused Michael Jackson of sexually abusing them when they were children. Ahead of the documentary's release, YouGov conducted a poll on how the U.S. public views the late singer.

It found that most respondents, 48 percent, would prefer if the child molestation cases against Michael Jackson were not reopened. 23 percent they should be reopened while 29 percent were unsure. Back in 2014, 41 percent of Americans had a favorable opinion of Michael Jackson but that has now fallen to 33 percent.
