The Countries Who Think Their Tourists Are Hated

It's no secret that some tourists have a bad reputation abroad. A new YouGov survey has now looked into the countries who think their tourists are viewed negatively by locals overseas. Brits certainly have a bad reputation for drunken and late nights on the town when they go on holiday and YouGov found that 61 percent of people in the UK think their tourists are viewed badly by the locals.

Some say it's a myth but many say they've experienced it: German holidaymakers getting up early in the morning with their towels to lay claim to all of the sun loungers around the pool. Just under half of Germans think locals in other countries have a negative view of their tourists. Indians are far more positive about their holidaymakers, however, with only 10 percent feeling they have a bad reputation with the locals.
