What Americans Recycle

More and more Americans are caring about the environment and making the effort to recycle. A Statista survey looked at what they were recycling in 2017, finding that out of people who actually participate in recycling, plastic is the most common item they recycle with 85 percent of respondents saying it's on their list. It's followed by paper/cardboard (81 percent) and aluminum/metal (76 percent).
