Are Americans in Favor of Impeachment?

According to poll averages collected by website FiveThirtyEight, attitudes among Americans towards impeachment have been changing – and not in favor of President Trump

Up until the end of November about an equal amount of Americans supported and opposed impeachment. As of Jan 23, support for impeachment once again gained traction, with 50.5 percent of Americans supporting it and 45.6 percent opposing it.

According to FiveThirtyEight, support for impeachment has grown among Democrats in the abovementioned timeframe, while it remained steady among Republicans and Independents.

Included in the poll averages are surveys by YouGov, Ipsos, Quinnipiac, Morning Consult, Emerson College and more.
