The Countries Americans Like The Most & Least

YouGov has released a new poll about American attitudes towards 195 different countries. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the research found that Americans consider the USA the best country on the planet with 78 percent of respondents rating it favorably. Australia is the second most popular country with the U.S. public, earning positive remarks from 75 percent of people in the survey, closely followed by Canada with 74 percent. Ireland and the UK round off the top five with 70 percent and 68 percent, respectively.

So what about the other end of the scale and the countries Americans tend to dislike the most? YouGov found that North Korea is the least popular country with the U.S. public with 65 percent of respondents saying they dislike it. Iran come second for lowest favorability at 56 percent while Iraq comes third with 52 percent.
