Travelers are weary of overcrowding
In a 2022 survey of global travelers commissioned by Booking.com, 64 percent of the survey respondents were willing to avoid travel hotspots and popular attractions in order to mitigate overcrowding. Around a third were willing to compromise on their destination of choice.
