Most Future New Travelers Will Come From China
According to the WTM Global Travel Report published by World Travel Market, China will see the greatest growth of households being able to afford to travel in the coming decade. Between 2024 and 2033, it is estimated that more than 60 million Chinese households will join the +$35,000 (in 2015 constant prices) income group, crossing the defined threshold that allows them to travel.
