National Airlines Often Enjoy Home Advantage
National airlines often are favored by their local populations, according to data from a Statista Consumer Insights survey. As the following chart shows, this was the case in several countries, including France, Germany, India, Japan, the United States, China and the United Kingdom. In the U.S., the next most popular airlines were Delta (36 percent), United (28 percent), Southwest Airlines (25 percent) and Alaska Airlines (11 percent).
