Multimodal Trips Still a Challenge for European Travelers

In a survey of EU citizen's travel habits conducted by the European Commission the study found that 31% of respondents had not booked any multimodal trips in the past two years. Of the people who had booked multiple modes of transport on a single trip, the most common transport combination was a train and a bus and travelers were least likely to combine a bus ride with a flight.
