How much aid does the UK actually contribute compared to other countries? Only six countries managed to meet their UN target of keeping foreign aid above 0.7 percent of gross national income last year and they were Denmark, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and the UK. The UK contributed £13.4 billion, second only to the US. This chart recently featured on the indy100.
