U.S. Millennials are Most Afraid to go on Holidays

“The pressures of American work culture have produced ideal conditions for the rise of the work martyr,” the report “The Work Martyr’s Cautionary Tale” compiled by Project: Time Off concludes. Most of the so-called martyrs are Millennials, those born between 1981 and 1997.

By definition, a work martyr is caught in a trap of skewed attitudes and frightful assumptions about work. The martyr is basically someone who is unhappy with his job, but unable to alter his situation. The martyr can’t just call it a day and go on holidays to replenish.
