Europe's top nations for organic farming

According to Eurostat, Spain has the largest amount of organic farming land of any EU country. In 2015, Spain had just under 2 million hectares with the majority of the crops exported overseas. Italy also exports the vast majority of its organic produce and it comes second in terms of total area with just under 1.5 million hectares. Britain is much further down the list with 495,929 hectares. Read more in the indy100.
