Partisan Divide Over What Constitutes a Strong Democracy

To some observers the 2016 presidential election campaign touches on the core of American democratic values. One of the causes for concern has been Donald Trump’s harsh rhetoric. Accusations that the elections were rigged against him and he would have to see whether to accept the outcome of the election if he loses added to the worries.
