Irish births and baptisms visualised

According to data from the CSO and Catholic Communications Office, the number of births and baptisms across Ireland grew wider apart between 2008 and 2012. However, in 2014, they drew closer once again. That year, there were 67,295 births in Ireland, along with 67,071 baptisms. Back in 2009, there were 72,605 baptisms and 75,554 births.
