Fireworks buyers in the Netherlands spent approximately 50 euros per person on fireworks in 2015, a slight increase in comparison to 2014. On the other hand, the share of the population buying fireworks decreased between 2014 and 2015, from 12 to 11 percent.

The majority of fireworks buyers spent less than 50 euros on fireworks in 2015, with 31 percent of buyers spending less than 20 euros last year. In comparison, one-fifth of buyers spent more than 100 euros on fireworks during the New Year period.
