The Shape of Water Joins Oscars Most Nominated List

The Shape of Water was the clear winner of this year’s Oscar nominations, announced by the Academy yesterday. Guillermo del Toro's critically acclaimed fantasy drama starring Sally Hawkins received 13 nominations, including nods in the prestigious Best Picture, Best Actress and Best Director categories.

Last year, La La Land was only the third film in the Academy Awards’ history to receive 14 nominations, tying Titanic and All About Eve for a place in Hollywood’s history books and going on to win 6 gongs. This years awards take place on March 4.
