The border wall has little support among Americans

62 percent of Americans oppose President Trump's plan to build a wall along the border with Mexico, according to a recent report from Pew Research. Even more, 70 percent, think that the US will end up paying for it. When it comes to the wall's impact on illegal immigration, 43 percent of Americans say that it will have little effect. 29 percent are expecting a major reduction in illegal immigration while 25 percent are expecting a minor reduction.
