Most Britons want the police to be armed

According to a recent Sky News poll, 7 out of every 10 Britons support routinely arming the country's police officers. The issue has become highly relevant in recent weeks after deadly terrorist attacks in London and Manchester. Specialist armed units managed to kill the London attackers within 8 minutes of the first 999 call. Nevetheless, 72 percent of people in Britain support routinely arming the entire police force while 20 percent are opposed.
