PVoD users during the coronavirus pandemic in the U.S. 2020, by generation
Results of a 2020 survey conducted in the United States found that 36 percent of Millennials paid to rent and watch PVoD content during the coronavirus pandemic. The share of Millennials with children at home was even higher, at over 50 percent. With movie theaters closed across the country, 22 percent of consumers in total chose to watch new films that were directly released to streaming video services at home.
