In 2022, individuals aged 60 and older in the United States filed 17,810 complaints about tech support fraud cases. Approximately eight thousand victims reported non-payment and non-delivery crimes. Personal data breaches and romance fraud were also frequently encountered by victims aged 60 and older in the measured year.
