Unemployment rate in Lyon in France 2008-2020
In 2020 the unemployment rate of the city of Lyon was 12 percent. This number has been fluctuating since 2008, reaching a peak in 2012 when unemployment was 18.4 percent, the highest level for the given period of time. But decreasing right after that in 2013, when only 13.5 percent of the active population was unemployed. A second but slightly less important spike can be observed in 2017 when the unemployment rate was around 17.7 percent.
