Number of companies created in Lyon 2022, by activity sector
In 2022, in the French city of Lyon, around 14,381 companies were created. The activity sector with the lowest number of new enterprises was the manufacturing and mining sector, with around 397 companies created. In comparison, 4,810 new companies were created in the professional, scientific, technical activities, and administrative and support service activities sector.
