Share of school children with eye visual acuity below 1.0 Japan FY 2012-2022
In fiscal year 2022, over 71.5 percent of high school students in Japan had eye visual acuity below 1.0. In that year, around 61 percent of junior high school students and around 38 percent of elementary school students had eye visual acuity below 1.0.
