Worldwide Steel Production Outweighs Consumption

The worldwide production of stainless steel has increased by about 60 percent in the past ten years while consumption even grew by a staggering 80 percent from 19,510 to 35,153 tons in the same period. Generally though, production outweighs consumption while only three-quarters is usually consumed per year.
