America's Most Important Trading Partners

The 2020 US Presidential election is one of the most important in decades - not just for Americans but also for its trading partners.

As our Statista chart shows, when it comes to overall trade with the United States, Mexico and Canada are nearly are on par, according to the latest figures of the U.S. Census Bureau. Nearly a third of America’s exported goods was in fact delivered to trade partners Canada and Mexico while China ended up in the third place in overall trade (13.8%). However, China remains America's most important trading partner when it comes to imports, beating Canada and Mexico by a large margin.
