The Future of Car Sales

As the automotive world gathers in Detroit next week for the North American International Auto Show, we take a look at forecasts from the Statista Consumer Market Outlook and our new Passenger Cars Report 2017 to take a broad look at the future of car sales in three key markets - the U.S., the E.U. and China. Unit sales are expected to climb in each region but, perhaps unsurprisingly, the biggest gains are going to occur in China, with a jump from 22.1 million in 2017 to 28.7 million in 2021 forecast.
