The Gender Pay Gap In Europe

Today, International Women's Day 2018, the gender pay gap is still a harsh reality, particularly in Europe. Defined as as the difference between male and female earnings as a percentage of male earnings, Eurostat has released data showing where the gap is worst in the EU. Estonia comes first with men outearning women by 25.3 percent. Czechia comes second with 21.8 percent while Germany is in third place with 21.5 percent.
