Trump Ramps Up "Witch Hunt" Tweets

While criticizing the Mueller investigation on Twitter today, President Trump used the phrase "witch hunt" twice. After a week of drama where Trump lambasted NATO allies and attempted to repair the damage from the Helsinki summit on Twitter, he has now returned to using more familiar rhetoric. His criticism of the Mueller investigation has become constant with words like "hoax" and "witch hunt" synonymous with his tweets. The following infographic shows that he has ramped up the tweets with the phrase used 20 times in May, 27 times in June and 17 times so far in July of 2018.
