Act of Terror: Where the Pipe Bombs Were Sent

Law enforcement officials have intercepted and apprehended several bombs intended for high ranking figures in American politics. The targets include former President Barack Obama, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and former President Bill Clinton, former CIA Director John Brennan, former Attorney General Eric Holder, Congresswoman and former DNC chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Shultz, Congresswoman Maxine Waters and philanthropist George Soros. All the targets are common punching bags for right-wing commentators and pundits.

The bombs contained a sulfur substance, a notoriously unstable construction that could have detonated at any moment. . The act of terror meant to incite panic has provoked many questions on who did this and why. The FBI has taken over the investigation, and no further details are known yet about the perpetrator, their motives, or their location.

Not all the packages have had the same circumstances surrounding their delivery. The package George Soros received was delivered by hand to his home address in upstate New York earlier this week. The story is still developing with recent reporting indicating that Robert De Niro may have received a similar type of package along with former Vice President Joe Biden.
