UK GDP growth at six month low
The latest figures from the Office for National Statistics have shown UK GDP growth to be at a six month low. Rolling three-month growth increased by just 0.3 percent in September to November 2018 - a continuation of the current downward trend and the lowest point since the 0.1 percent recorded in March to May 2018. A slump in manufacturing output, which fell for the fifth month in a row, is being cited as the main cause.
